I Went to Walmart and Discovered My New Favorite Toothpaste

First thing’s first: I’m not going to pretend for a second that this post is sexy or stylish. It’s about toothpaste! A really amazing toothpaste, but still. I think we can all agree that the days of making everyday life look like a magazine spread are so over. Real life looks like me high-tailing it to Walmart in the middle of the day for new toothpaste from Burt’s Bees.

Walmart, where the lighting is not designed to make you look like a supermodel, it’s designed to help you find what you need. That is no small feat these days in the toothpaste aisle. When did it become an entire aisle?! I’d almost rather floss than shop for toothpaste. Kidding … of course I floss ????. And yet, I am admittedly obsessive about oral care. I have a dental hygienist mom to thank for that.

Finding a toothpaste that is both effective and healthy has never been easy. Most products with simpler ingredients look adorable on the sink but don’t really deliver. The new Burt’s Bees Toothpaste is formulated with ingredients you can trust, and the Fluoride formulas work like the leading toothpastes at fighting cavities – there are Fluoride-Free formulas as well offering users the freedom to choose. (It also looks lovely on the sink because it’s Burt’s Bees).

Unlike standard toothpastes, the new line from Burt’s Bees is made without SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) and artificial flavors & sweeteners. Yes, these things can be found in most toothpastes! And let’s be honest: we don’t just brush with this stuff, we ingest it.

I’m as thrilled about the simplicity and efficacy of Burt’s Bees Toothpaste almost as much as I am about the taste. So refreshing and minty, with none of that bitter taste or gritty texture—you know the one. You will actually look forward to brushing your teeth (after you wash your face, right?!)

Be sure to get yours at Walmart ASAP! I’m pretty sure everyone at my store snagged a tube after watching me make a scene. Just keeping it real.
