Shopbop Sale: Six Sporty Spring Picks!

Spring style is all about simplicity and practicality for me. It’s finally warm enough not to cover your entire outfit beneath a butt-length puffer coat, but still cool enough that you can layer a few cute pieces together. It also means mobility, and selecting pieces that get you ready and out the door quickly while ensuring that you are comfortable and ready for anything. These are the six style pieces that I’m most excited about for spring 2018, and you can find them all included in the Shopbop Spring Sale!  (use code Event18).

Crew Necks – Am I the only person who wants an entire collection of short and long-sleeved crew-necks this season? Give them to me in all the neutral colors, including stripes (stripes are the best neutral, IMO). I’m loving this one from Rag & Bone with it’s classic navy stripes and contrasting neck.

High-waisted Denim – Putting on a pair of high-waisted denim was pretty life-changing for me. Not only are they pretty damn flattering, they’re comfortable and they hug your curves in a way that low-rise denim just can’t. For spring I’m eyeing ankle length high-waisted denim, such as this pair from Habitual, which pair great with all my favorite flats.

A Sporty Jacket – Adding a bomber jacket to my wardrobe transformed how I was putting together outfits, and made me feel instantly chic for a quick errand run or walking the dog. I might have more navy in my closet than any other color, but this Splits59 Jacket had to join the team.

Cross-Body Bags – Warmer weather brings farmers markets, outdoor concerts and choosing the scene route over public transit, which means it’s also high time to clean out your shoulder bag and side down to a simple cross body bag that you can easily carry during long walks or bike rides. Tory Burch hasn’t failed me yet, and I definitely have my eyes on her Georgia Cross Body Bag in Navy.

White Sneakers – Does anything say “Spring” quite like a fresh pair of white kicks? I got a pair of these Superga 2750 Cotus last year and cannot wait to bust them out for a fresh season! They have just thick enough of a soul to offer some height, but are still comfortable enough for my long city walks.

Round Frames – While I love a thick, tortoise frame, I’m also a bit smitten with the look of round frames. I wear this Barton Perreira pair with red lipstick and a top-knot and call it a day.
