Lost + Found Beauty

My closet might be organized by color and season but my laptop is a black top of photos and files and I can’t bring myself to delete. Once in awhile I stumble on a gem that never saw the light of day. Like this roundup I pulled together a few years ago for a Valentine’s Day Self-Love post and never published. I have no idea why, but what’s amazing is that I still have and use all of these products—the ultimate test! They deserve some so I’m dusted off the photo and recalling why I still love them and think you will, too.

1. Sigma Beauty makes the most affordable, professional makeup brushes, especially the  fluffy F40 Angled Contour ($23) for targeted blush and bronzer. // 2. Lotus Wei Infinite Love Mist ($40) smells like roses, bottled. NOT rose perfume, but that juicy, almost fruity scent that only comes from nestling your nose in the real thing. I keep this spray on the nightstand for when I’m feeling down, or need to reset my mood, or want to show Ty some love. We’ll even use it pre meditation. Hippy love! (all of the scents are wonderful, btw) // 3. Eve Lom Kiss Mix ($22) lip balm is shiny, minty and just sticky enough to stay put. I wear it like a clear lipgloss and realize upon writing this that it’s my favorite lip balm! // 4. Givenchy Les Vernis in Grenat Initie ($24) has changed my opinion about luxury nail polishes. They’re usually all flash, no staying power. But Givenchy’s go on rich and gorgeous, you hardly need two coats. I usually get my nails done, but during the Ides of March it’s kind of fun to put on PJs and do your own toes. // 5. NARS The Multiple ($39) are so easy for travel, touch-ups, post-massage or workout when you need a quick polishing, One creamy shade can handle lips, cheeks, and even eyelids if that’s your thing. Good time to scoop up one of the bronzers for spring break!
