Viva La France!

Happy Friday, friends! I’ve had French everything on les brain with the election . . . why don’t we vote on Sundays anyway? A few finds to lighten the mood. Have a dreamy weekend!

I obviously have a thing for mint but for some reason never use it to decorate. Maybe because it normally has a retro feel. Yet this French apartment bath is so light and rich at the same time. Those floor and that burnished chandelier really give it depth. Dreamy. {via Glitter Inc.}

I spend an inordinate amount of time in the cereal aisle scrutinizing bags of granola. How much protein? Why so much sugar? Is it stupid to spend $7 on six servings when I could make a pound of it at home wish as many nuts as I want?! Don’t get me started on toothpaste shopping . . . My point is that there is granola and then there’s granola. If I’m going to top my fruit and yogurt with it and call it breakfast it better be better than avocado toast. She is French granola is that good. Maybe too good. Gluten-free, full of all the yummy, chunky things, not too sweet and a little bit salty, and laced with extras like anti-inflammatory turmeric and anti-aging matcha. Plus, it’s made by a Frenchie living in NYC and we like supporting women-owned small businesses! You can even get a weekly granola subscription!

Loving Maya’s spring staples. Cream + black + a blush bag = tres chic. I always forget about this combo and it’s such a delicate way to wear black pants this time of year. I would definitely pair that jacket with jeans and white tee, too, for a dressed down Chanel-inspired vibe.

I overdosed on French manicures in high school but could get behind this toasty nude and gold metallic number via Lauren Conrad! You?

Are French fries even French? I feel like I should know that by now . . . Regardless, someone in my house as a serious thing for potatoes so I find myself looking for healthy-ish ways to use them. Ambitious Kitchen’s truffle-laced oven fries will definitely be making it on the dinner menu soon. Like once I find a new hot dog recipe to try.
