The Love List: Holiday Edition

The Love List Holiday EditionIt’s hard to believe we’ve been doing holiday gift guides for six years at Beauty Bets—and never run out of products and pretty things that we HAVE TO HAVE. And yet, I have admittedly gotten totally burnt out on the overload of stuff that permeates the internets and my inbox this time of year when what we really should be doing is spending time cozied up by the fire and toasting loved ones. Which is why we are keeping it short and sweet (but no less special) this year with just a handful of gifts truly worth giving—or putting on your own wish list. This roundup is brought to you by all of us at BB, so it’s about as selective and spectacular as you’d expect from a bunch of beauty aficionados who have seen, smelled, spritzed and schmeared it all! Enjoy + happy holidays! –Bets

1. Bobbi Brown Lady Ruba lipstick, “because as we know it’s the absolute best! I want a back-up tube for my back-up tube,” says Dani. // 2. A 1-year subscription to Darling Mag // 3. Bets couldn’t wait for Santa to bring her a pair of J.Crew Crystal Wreath Earrings, which plans to pair with a preppy plaid shirt. // 4. “I’m gifting Cocovit Coconut Oil because I use it ALL THE TIME (and for everything!),” says Maya. // 5. She also wants the new Herbivore Coco Rose Lip Collection. Who doesn’t! // 6. All Kara ever wants for Christmas (besides books) is a new perfume to add to her massive collection. This year’s pick: Frederic Malle Carnal Flower, “which would be my signature scent if it were slightly less expensive. It’s bombshell in a bottle.” // 7. Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Soy Milk + Honey Whipped Body Butter – “I ask for this every year because it’s incredible,” says Hannah. “It hydrates without feeling greasy, the texture is addictive and the scent is so dang good. Do yourself a favor and get the big tub.” // 8. Ashley designed what we think is the first collection of make-up bags for Target that don’t look like they’re from…Target. So good, so snap one up while you can!
