The Love List // October

The Love List October | Beauty Bets

Fall is for crisp air, leaves crunching underfoot and getting cozier. For me that means a return to the tub! Never underestimate the healing powers of a good soak, especially if it’s accompanied by some seriously therapeutic accoutrement. These are so worth keeping on hand for the next time the spa mood strikes. One thing is more powerful than the rest and always free: breathe!

1. Organic Head Detox and Purify Shampoo ($9) – new to Target from celeb Brit colorist Daniel Galvin, Jr., a reset for your hair that busts through product and environmental buildup. // 2. Fig + Yarrow Mustard Soak ($32) – Mustard has magical powers. A natural cure for the common cold, exhaustion and muscle soother, this is warming soak makes everything better. // 3. Kusmi Rose Green Tea ($17.50) – It wouldn’t be a proper bath without a cup of tea, especially if it’s a delicate and naturally uplifting French blend. // 4. I Am Very Busy Planner ($20) – I always keep a notebook at the ready for whatever flashes of inspiration arise while I’m meditating. Ban.Do’s are the most fun. // 5. Woodlot Rose + Palo Santo Calming Mist ($19) – The lovely lot at Woodlot has managed to bottle palo santo, the sister to sage known as “Holy Wood.” Spritz it generously to cleanse and energize your space and free your mind. // 6. Tatine Tisane Candles ($18) – I’ve been obsessed with Tatine since smelling every single one of them at ABC Home Store. Unwrapping one is the the ultimate gift-to-self, and the scents are off the chart. // 7. Tammy Fender Purifying Lucent Masque ($215) – Yes, it’s pricey. But this holistic, herbal blend is like a professional facial, deep-cleansing and restorative while you soak. Worth it! // 8. Cleanse by Lauren Napier ($18 for 12) – Before you steam and mask, take the day off with a facial towelette from a NYC makeup artist who knows her way around the cleansing game. I feel very Park Avenue just looking at the black packaging!
