How to Apply False Lashes the Easy Way With Eylure

Alright friends, I have a confession to make: I’m a fake eyelashes newbie. Falsies have always intimidated me, and I assumed that they would look anything but au natural. Boy, was I wrong. I recently stumbled across Eylure products as I was having one of those “I’ll just go to Target to look” days (we’ve all been there…) and was completely awed by how natural they looked. And, when the price is right, you can’t help but give them a go, right?

For anyone else who’s a newbie to fake lashes, here are a few tips I’ve learned along way:

Find the Right Lashes for You
There are a lot of fake lashes out there, so it’s easy to get overwhelmed while perusing the drugstore. From subtle to Kim Kardashian dramatic, there’s a right set of falsies for everyone. Eylure’s starter kits are perfect if you’re a novice, and come in a variety of styles. I personally love the naturals kit for a subtle look, or the lengthening set (pictured) if you’re feeling a little bolder.

Apply The Easy Way
The idea of gluing anything to my eyes scares me. Luckily, the application process was a breeze, and Eylure lashes has an easy lash strip that allows you to quickly pop them on. When it comes to glue, less is more so lightly apply to ensure that there’s no gloppy residue left behind. Most importantly, make sure to align each end to the left and right of your eyelids to make them fit perfectly so you’re ready to rock all day long.

And voila: Full, voluminous, natural-looking fringe, just the way nature intended. If you have any tips + tricks to add we’d love to hear them!
