How to Soothe a Sunburn


Although I’ve become sun phobic as an adulthood—you would too with these sunspots—I’m the last one who will judge if you stayed out a wee bit too long on the boat or by the pool. The sun feels good, man. And despite wearing sunscreen you can still get your you-know-what kicked by it. If you’re hanging your head and wincing right now, I highly recommend a combination of the following:

1. Popping a few ibuprofen for the pain and inflammation
2. Drawing a Milk Bath OR Potato Vinegar Sunburn Soak (both recipes are super easy)
3. Slathering on the Shea Cream.  Nothing soothes and helps heal a burn faster than shea butter. Even the Mayo Clinic has been known to use it on burn victims.
