How to Erase Self-Tanner Streaks?

Answer: Mr. Clean Magic Erasers ($4)

I haven’t had a beauty revelation like this since rediscovering Biore strips! But I can’t take all the credit—someone mentioned this self-tanner tip to me on Twitter weeks ago and I finally tried it. Simply dampen one of the pre-soaked cleansing sponges and gently buff away any orange streaks, blotches, etc. Go easy the first time—your skin might be sensitive to the cleaning solution. It is, after all, intended for scrubbing sinks and countertops. Also: Do NOT try this trick on your face. I did that research for you, and the result was a blotchy, red, peeling patch on my chin. Super pretty!

p.s. If you’re looking for a more natural albeit less effective solution, massage an oil-based scrub into the targeted area. You can make your own with a little olive oil and coarse sugar or salt.
