FAQs + Disclosures

Q: How can I become a sponsor on your site? How much does it cost?

A:  I’m always open to new sponsors, particularly if you’re a business who can add value for Beauty Bets readers. Please email me at elizabeth [at] beautybets [dot] com for advertising guidelines and rates.

Q: Where do you get the products you review?

A: The majority of the products reviewed on this site are sent to me by publicists for free—which allows me to write this blog without going broke! I do, however, purchase the products I use by the truckload (Aveda Hand Relief, anyone?) .

Q: If you receive free products, how do we know your reviews are unbiased?

A: Content comes first. I only write about products, services and brands that I believe in. Any reviews that appear on Beauty Bets represent my honest, unbiased opinion. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Q: How do I submit products for review?

A: That’s easy. Just email me at elizabeth [at] beautybets [dot] com or send products* to Beauty Bets headquarters for review:

Beauty Bets, Inc.
3116 W. Lake St.
#227
Minneapolis, MN 55416

*Please keep in mind that while I test-drive most products I receive—and love every minute of it—I only write about the ones that are exceptional, newsworthy, or that I know will resonate with readers.

Q: I’m looking for a beauty expert or freelance writer. Can you help?

A:  Of course!  I’m a magazine editor by trade so feel right at home with beauty, travel, and lifestyle writing projects. I also love chatting up these topics on television and radio, and do so regularly. Just drop me a line at elizabeth [at] beautybets [dot] com
