Happy Thanksgiving from Vero Beach, Florida, where I’m spending a gloriously sunny, blissfully lazy week with family and friends. It’s my first tropical holiday and I am relishing it. There is so very much to be grateful for: a new home, a new love, a new life, really. Even on the days when I feel sad or worry that I’m not enough—because those days are real, too—I find myself crying often out of sheer relief that I have found a way to be my true self without losing anything worth keeping. In fact, getting honest and being vulnerable is what has put me back together. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me the space and the unconditional support to do that. You’ve made me feel understood and less alone, and that is something I will never forget.
Merci dear ones,
