8 Beauty Steals From Target That Might Surprise You

8 Target Beauty Steals That Might Surprise You

We know that you don’t need our help filling your Target cart. But we might as well offer our two-cents on how you can make the most of Target’s well-curated beauty aisle. Team Beauty Bets is over the moon about some of the brands our favorite big-box has introduced, and we’re also happy to let you in on a few old faithfuls! Read on . . .

ONE:  S.W. Basics of Brooklyn Peppermint Balm ($5) – Certified organic and loaded with cocoa butter and coconut oil so that lips are hydrated and smooth, this minty balm isn’t sticky or waxy in the least. We love seeing one of our favorite indie brands at our local Target!

TWO: Bare Republic Mineral Sunscreen ($15) – You’ve heard us sing the many praises of COOLA sunscreen and we are thrilled with the collaboration between COOLA and Target. The result is the Bare Republic suncare collection which includes a variety of SPF-loaded options at smart prices.

THREE:  Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in Lovesick ($7) – What if we told you that Dani’s go-to lip color for the past 3+ years was a $6 tube of Revlon balm from Target? Well, this is me telling you.

FOUR:  Zoe Organics Insect Repellent ($20) – Round of applause to Target for having another one of our go-to natural brands on its shelves. What’s not to love about a bug spray that is made of 100% botanical oils and smells good enough to where even when the bugs aren’t biting?

FIVE:  Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure ($7) – If you don’t have the time (or the money) for a salon manicure, this baby is your best bet for a professional look at home. The oval brush makes application easy and the formula dries fast with a thick, shiny finish.

SIX:  Nuxe Dry  Body Oil ($39) – One of Gwyneth’s French pharmacy finds and now ours, Nuxe is straight out of St. Tropez. Everything’s tres magnifique but the dry body oil, which offers a concentration of botanical oils, vitamin E and a dry oil shimmer, leaves your skin looking luminous, never glittery!

SEVEN:  Aussie Sprunch Spray ($3) – This classic has been a must-have for the past 15+ years of Dani’s life. She has never gone without a bottle (or two) on hand OR on vacation without a small bottle in her carry-on. “It brings out my natural curls in an amazing way, and does fabulous things to my hair when sprayed on and left to air-dry. Trust me on this one.”

EIGHT:  Yes to Carrots Towelettes ($6) – These are worth having on hand for your laziest nights, when your full skincare routine is a no-go. Just grab one of these gentle wipes and be done in seconds.

Have you picked up any mind-blowing items at your local Target lately? Tell us all about it in the comments!
