The Love List // June

June-Love-List-2015

Welcome to June! I’m so glad it’s here. All things pink and black and gold and good are filling my beauty troughs. A few favorites for the dreamy days ahead: 1. Rifle Paper “Bobbi Pins” ($24) – Love the feminine yet graphic lines of this print for a closet or powder room!  // 2. One Love Organics Coconut + Salt Mineral Body Lotion ($25) – I don’t say this lightly or impartially: Velvety and rich thanks to organic coconut oil and scented faintly of summer, this is the best body lotion I’ve ever used. // 3. Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer ($38) – Primers can be a bit meh at times but this one really works to keep skin pristine and oil at bay when the humidity kicks up. In that respect it’s for all skin types this time of year! // 4. Deborah Lippmann in A Fine Romance ($18) – Nudes were big last spring/summer and I’m loving the blush and bashful twist. Not as harsh as white but more opaque than the usually pale pink suspects! // 5. The New Bohemians ($27) – I’d like to think that I’m a bohemian at heart, even if that only manifests in taking inspiration from this color and texture bomb of a book from celebrated blogger + designer Justina Blakeney. // 6. The Seaweed Bath Co. Detox Cellulite Soap ($7) – Black soap = hook, line and sinker. But the combination of seaweed, coffee and cinnamon make this an extra awesome all-natural spa experience. // 7. Wander Beauty On-The-Glow Blush and Illuminator ($42) – There is nothing like a GOLD encased multitasker to give me pause. One part creamy, pink blush, one part dewifier, this glamorous tube now goes with me everywhere. // 8. Mr. Smith Shampoo + Conditioner ($30 each) – Again with the packaging! You should see this against my subway tiled shower. But truly, one of the best sulfate-free haircare lines I’ve used—the shampoo actually lathers.
