Sleepover Survival Kit

Sleepovers may have come a long way since those popcorn and ouija-board fueled nights in the eighth grade but the morning after tends to be a doozie, especially after an epic night out (or in . . .). And while I wish I looked half as gorgeous as the night before, the a.m. isn’t so kind to me. Here are a few beauty besties I always pack in my overnighter that have my boyfriend convinced I’m always I-woke-up-like-this flawless.

1. Kiehls Ultra Facial Moisturizer ($18.50): The perfect (mini sized!) moisturizer for the night before and the morning after. It’s perfect for any skin type and fits perfectly in my itty-bitty makeup bag.

2. Elizabeth Arden Highlight and Shadow Set ($40): I love the colors in this set, but any highlighting eye shadow will do! I dab a little under my eyes and right under my brows for a refreshed, awake look (fake it ‘till you make it, right?)

3. Benefit Fake Up Concealer ($24): One of my favorite incognito concealers. It’s my go-to for hiding dark circles and those pesky pimples that always seem to pop up after too much fun.

4. Yes to Cucumbers Facial Towelettes ($5): When you don’t have time to wash your face, facial towelettes are the way to go! I love all Yes To products, and this one is both refreshing and soothing for my sensitive skin.

5. Tarte Skinny Smolder Eyeliner ($19): To fake wide-awake eyes, I always swipe a fresh smear of eyeliner every morning. To get an easy doe-eyes look, I love Tarte’s smolder eyeliner with the built in smudger for the perfect blend.

6. Benefit Benetint ($30): The original and best tint around, I love this for a rosy sheen on my cheeks or as an easy-peasy lip stain. This multi-tasking product is my favorite to dab on right away in the morning for a refreshed glow!

7. Burts Bees Beeswax Lip Balm ($3): A cult-classic and, in my humble opinion, the best chap stick around, I never leave the house with at least one tube in my purse or pocket.

Any other products you can’t live without after a night on the town? Please let us know—there’s always room in our makeup bag for one more!
