Multi-Tasking Summer Beauty Finds
It’s that time of year: The sun is shining but I’m holed up inside with a blanket, bottle of Pinot and a remote, glued to the TV for season finales. I’ve screamed my way through the finale episode of Scandal, sobbed through Grey’s, and am now preparing for the Modern Family wedding and whatever maddening surprises await us on Mad Men. During these marathons, I tend to stay up way too late, making a multi-tasking morning beauty routine all the more essential.
I’ve rediscoverd CoverGirl TruBlend Foundation ($10), a drugstore darling that’s been smartly reformulated to give skin for more flexible and forgiving coverage if, like me, you vacillate between varying degrees of faux glow all summer. I also appreciate that it’s oil-free but leaves me looking fresh-faced.
Another multitasking must: the new CoverGirl TruMagic Skin Perfector in Sunkisser ($11). I’m normally such a powder bronzer person, but this sheet balm is the bomb dot com. I love wearing it alone if I’m having a really good skin day, or swiped on top of foundation along cheekbones, forehead and the bridge of my nose for a sheer, natural-looking sun-kissed look.
Vidal Sassoon ColorFinity Hairspray ($4) has the lift and staying power of a Betty Draper-sized bouffant, providing extra-strong hold for up to 24 hours without being sticky weighing hair down. It also keeps the humidity, the bane of my hair existence, at bay. Do tell: What beauty multi-taskers have you discovered this season?
This post brought to you by P&G but, as always, all opinions are my own.

L’Oreal has a great aerosol spray out I just came across called Sleek It Serum. I am in love. I typically wash my hair about every three days. In between washings, this keeps it shiny and smooth. I spray a bit extra on my ends so they look effortlessly piecey and not dry. xoxo
Thanks for the tip, Karen! I love a good drugstore find.
