Do You Suffer from Rosacea?

I realized recently how many people do. Some, like my friend P., didn’t even know she had it untils a derm diagnosed the tiny red bumps that always came it went. I always thought that rosacea meant rosy cheeks, but for the sixteen million Americans who suffer from the chronic skin disorder, rosacea manifests as any combination of facial redness, acne-like bumps, and small visible blood vessels. Although it can’t be cured, rosacea can be controlled by avoiding common triggers like sun exposure, stress, and alcohol consumption. There are also loads of redness-reducing products that seem to have cropped up overnight—have you used any of them? Do they work? In honor of Rosacea Awareness Month, I’d love to hear from any of you who struggle with this skin disorder and what you do to alleviate the symptoms.
