The Easiest False Lashes Ever

Red, teary eyes; smeared makeup; adhesive everywhere (including my elbow!); uncontrollable swearing fits and nothing to show for it but mangled lashes. No matter how many You Tube videos I watched or friends I consulted, I failed at at-home false lash application time and time and time again. And I was letting down my hero! Then I was introduced to Eylure, a UK-based brand of false eyelashes that’s been around since 1947 (Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren and Marlene Dichtrich were all fans), that just debuted in the United States. Touted as “the fastest lashes available,” they come pre-glued (read: no tiny tube of lash adhesive required!). After removing the lashes with tweezers from the box, you’re ready to apply and reapply until they’re absolutely perfect. A super sexy corner lash literally took me three seconds to put on and netted me compliments all day long. Plus, they’re reusable! Once the pre-glued strip loses its stickiness, simply remove it and adhere the lashes to the refill glue strip. Of the line’s 22 styles, the Ready to Wear lashes ($5.99) are a God-send for newbies—or anyone who’s all elbows. —Meghan

Eylure lashes are available exclusively at Ulta stores, where the Ready to Wears are on sale this week for just $4.99!
