Natural Deodorants That Actually Work

Now that the weather has warmed up, we can finally start thinking about lazy afternoons at the lake, drinks on the patio and oh, yeah, B.O. While summer sweat is the pits, I’ve handpicked some natural deodorants that actually work without the use of aluminum, parabens, or other harsh chemicals. Don’t worry—there’s not a giant rock crystal in the bunch. —Hannah

Dr. Hauschka Deodorant in Fresh ($23) – The creme de la creme of natural deos, this one is packaged in 100% recycled glass to boot. Very nice.  Miessence Roll-on Deodorant in Tahitian Breeze ($9) – Perfect for athletes or active mom’s alike, this roll-on is free of petrochemicals + aluminum. Oh, and it smells amozzing, like a tropical getaway.  Tom’s of Maine Long Lasting Deodorant ($5) – My drug store favorite! Zinc traps the stinkies, keeping you super fresh.  Weleda Citrus Spray Deodorant ($13) – Zesty, refreshing + aerosol-free! Lemon peel oil neutralizes odor and kills bacteria.  Jason Naturals Aloe Deodorant ($3) –  Vitamin E and aloe vera soothe sensitive skin while lavender oil and clove deliver a gentle freshness.  Kiss My Face Liquid Rock Fragrance Free Deodorant ($6) – LBD approved! The mineral crystal formula dries clear + keeps you dry.
