The $6 Matte Lip Gloss We Love
I’m not sure that many women would compare a lipstick to Cheez-Whiz, but I guess I’m that girl. You see, Cheez-Whiz is confusing. It’s not real cheese and it’s sold in a shelf-stable can. You don’t really know what you’re getting into until you squeeze some onto a Triscuit and get to gobbling. I feel the exact same way about NYX’s Soft Matte Lip Creams ($6). These babies come in gloss-like tubes and go on light as a feather, but impart a rich, velvety color akin to a matte lipstick. They also keep lips moisturized, like a balm. Crazy like Cheez-Whiz, right? The creams come in 11 shades, ranging from nudes to pinks, reds to peachy neutrals. After just a few weeks of testing, I’m addicted to Monte Carlo, an an oh-so-pretty blue-based red.
Definitely going to give these a try. Where is NYX sold? (Other than on their website)
NYX is sold at Ulta locations nationwide, and also online at CherryCulture.com. Have fun giving them a try!
