Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips

Hello, my name is Meghan, and I’ve fallen in love with Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips. Here’s why:

1. They’re a cinch to apply. Simply unpeel each polish strip from its protective backing, center it on your nail bed, and press. You can also watch this video tutorial.

2. Getting rid of excess polish is just as easy—each box comes with a cuticle stick and two-sided file to buff away extra polish.

3. No drying time is a definite selling point!

4. They last for a long, long time. I’m hard on my hands, and these babies held up a couple weeks.

5. You can take them off quickly and easily with regular polish remover.

Tips: Follow the enclosed directions to a tee. It’s super important to swipe your naked nails with polish remover in order for the strips to adhere. You can make each box of 16 strips last longer by using just one on each hand as accents (see photo).

My only complaints: The strip sizes are a titch off. The thumb strip as laughably wide, but some of the pinky-sized strips were too dainty. I’d also avoid Frock Star, a blingy shade that was a bitch to apply and chipped immediately.

P.S. The red I’m rocking in the pic is OPI’s Got the Blues for Red.
