I’m Having a Citrus Moment

Maybe it’s a natural response to the rain and the cold, but lately I can’t get enough of anything sweet/tart/fresh—orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime. So uplifting. These fruity numbers are currently in heavy rotation at my house:

citrus_group1. Philosophy Mimosa Lip Shine ($6 on sale!) – two of my favorite flavors in one super-lustrous, hydrating balm.

2. Love & Toast ($9-$12) – I just discovered this sweet little line at Paper Source, and I had to stop myself from buying up every last tube of the silky hand cream and old-fashioned rollerball oils. The Sugar Grapefruit and Mandarin Tea scents are TO DIE FOR.

3. Lavanila Vanilla Grapefruit Body Butter ($12-$25) – In my book, this is the best body butter on the planet—pure shea and coconut butters, without any synthetic fragrance or preservatives. It looks like frosting. The combination of juicy grapefruit and sweet vanilla is equally addictive.

4. Red Flower Italian Blood Orange Body Wash ($20) – A bit of a splurge for the bod, but totally worth it if you’d like to be transported from your beige bathroom to an orange grove in Tuscany. Anything from Red Flower borders on a spiritual experience.

5. Fresh Sugar Lemon Eau de Parfum ($24-$65) – I have two signature scents (which you are welcome to), and this is one of them. It’s delicious and sparkling and addictive, like the best cocktail you’ve ever had on a hot summer’s day. The body wash and lotion are totally amazing, too.

6. John Masters Organics Blood Orange & Vanilla Body Milk ($18) – Such an unexpected combination of citrus laced with creamy-sweet vanilla. Everything from John Masters is pretty incredible stuff—and certified-organic! Since you’re probably new to the line, I’m giving away three luxury travel sets of the hair & body collection. Simply leave a comment with your current body lotion of choice to be considered!

Update: Congratulations to Barb, Angie S., and Jamie, the winners of this giveaway!
